What is a Husar Wine?
The term Husar describes an elite group of cavalrymen, leaders
of troops for many centuries. Only the bravest and best horsemen
were selected. The Hussars were connoisseurs of good wines and
only chose the best. Soon, the term Husarenwein was applied to
an exceptionally good wine.
